Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you are welcomed by your safari guide and transferred to your hotel. Depending on arrival time, you may relax by Lake Victoria or take a short orientation of the town.

Day 2: Entebbe to Jinja – Source of the Nile

After breakfast, drive to Jinja, Uganda’s adventure capital and the historical source of the Nile River. Upon arrival, visit the exact point where the Nile begins its journey from Lake Victoria.

Optional activities include boat rides, kayaking, or white-water rafting for adventure travellers.

Day 5: Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise

Day 6: Transfer to Bwindi via Ishasha Sector

Day 7: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest

This is the highlight of the safari and one of the most powerful wildlife encounters in the world.

Day 8: Batwa Cultural Experience & Relaxation

Day 10: Return to Entebbe & Departure
