The 14 Days Uganda Adventure & Nature Safaris takes you across Uganda’s most diverse wildlife and adventure destinations. The journey starts at the Source of the Nile in Jinja and continues to Murchison Falls, Kibale Forest, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, and Lake Mburo National Park.

This safari focuses on real experiences in nature. You track chimpanzees in rainforest, watch lions on open savannah, cruise along major waterways, and meet mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. Every day brings a new landscape and a new wildlife encounter.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe

You arrive at Entebbe International Airport, where your safari guide meets you and welcomes you to Uganda. You then transfer to your hotel near Lake Victoria. You spend the rest of the day resting after your flight and preparing for the journey ahead.

Day 2: Entebbe to Jinja – Source of the Nile

After breakfast, you drive east toward Jinja. You stop at scenic countryside points along the way. In Jinja, you visit the Source of the Nile and take a boat ride where the river begins its long journey north. You enjoy a relaxed evening by the river.

Day 3: Adventure Day in Jinja

You spend the day on the Nile enjoying adventure activities. You can go white-water rafting, kayaking, or quad biking. You can also take a calm sunset cruise if you prefer a slower pace. Jinja gives you a mix of thrill and relaxation.

Day 4: Jinja to Murchison Falls National Park

You leave Jinja early and travel toward Murchison Falls. You stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for guided rhino tracking. Later, you enter the park and visit the Top of the Falls. You watch the Nile force through a narrow gorge with strong power.

Day 5: Game Drive & Boat Cruise

You start the morning with a game drive across the savannah. You look for lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and antelopes. In the afternoon, you take a boat cruise on the Nile to the base of the falls. You see hippos, crocodiles, and many water birds along the way.

Day 6: Murchison Falls to Kibale Forest

You drive south through Uganda’s countryside. You pass tea plantations and rolling hills before reaching Kibale Forest. You arrive in the evening and settle into your forest lodge surrounded by nature.

Day 7: Chimpanzee Tracking & Bigodi Wetland

You enter Kibale Forest early for chimpanzee tracking. You walk through dense rainforest with rangers and locate a chimpanzee group. You spend time observing their behavior in the wild. In the afternoon, you visit Bigodi Wetland and explore its rich birdlife and primates.

Day 8: Crater Lakes & Queen Elizabeth National Park

Day 9: Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Cruise

You start the day with a morning game drive. You look for lions, elephants, buffaloes, and hyenas. In the afternoon, you take a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. You see large groups of hippos, crocodiles, and birds along the shoreline.

Day 10: Ishasha Sector to Bwindi

You drive through the Ishasha Sector where you search for tree-climbing lions. You continue into the misty highlands of Bwindi Forest. You arrive at your lodge in the evening and prepare for gorilla trekking.

Day 11: Gorilla Trekking Experience

You report early for a briefing before entering Bwindi Forest. You hike through thick jungle with rangers. You locate a gorilla family and spend one hour with them. You watch them feed, play, and interact in their natural home.

Day 12: Batwa Cultural Experience

Day 14: Return to Entebbe & Departure
